Toast To Frienship : to all my friends at college and to those lovely college days...

Like leaves in a storm ,
Our lives together were flown,
Strong was the bond so formed,
Bound by the love we found.

The storm damped away ,
In the end of a hot summer May,
No longer could the smiles pertain,
Tears washed them down like an unwelcome rain.

But for once I thank a storm,
From which I was made strong,
Strong by heart and strong by soul,
Strong with friends who held my fall.

I ran a hand through my hair as I waited admist the shimmering lights of Chennai's traffic for an auto. Chennai - the city where you get ripped by the autowallah's, fried by the sun and interrogated by foriegners. But I was happy. The interrogation was a success and I had been granted a Visa to the USA.

Waking up on a Sunday morning after a party with friends the previous night to write an exam -- the worst sign. The alarm played the perfect part of the dream destroyer that morning as well. After one hour of relentless ringing I had to give up to the irritating power of Evanescence's wake me up inside ...
